Our in-depth knowledge in computational fluid mechanics is accompanied with the relevant experimental verification procedures. Having a close partnership with leading European wind tunnel facilities we offer the most integrated and complete approach to fluid mechanics projects that require experimental testing.

Test rig development:

We provide a complete design support for the development of flow measurement test rig. Our integrated approach ensure that the measurements are taken according to the required specification and can be compared by the relevant computational study. Based on customer’s requirements we provide a fully automated on site installation. We only use certified and calibrated equipment which can be leased for the conduction of the flow measurement.

Typical sensors used:

    • Flow meters (Doppler, Rotameters, Electronic, pitot tubes)
    • Pressure Gauges (through tapings)
    • Thermocouples
    • High speed photography

Wind tunnel testing:

Our stuff has more than a thousand combined working hours experience in wind tunnel testing. Compflow proves a complete outsourcing service handling every process of the wind tunnel testing. Our certified methodology ensures repeatable measurements

Typical measurement equipment:

  1. PIV (2.5 and 3D)
  2. Hot wire
  3. Flow visualization paint
  4. Pressure tapping
  5. Turbulence spectrum analyzers.
  6. Laser Doppler Velocimeter (LDV)

Telemetry testing:

In addition to the traditional measurement procedures we offer remote flow measurement testing for cases where real time and continuous measurements are needed. We develop bespoke real time monitoring solutions based on National Instruments DAQ products that can be deployed to the harshest environments with proven reliability and consistency.
