The completion time depends on a number of factors including geometry complexity and the physics involved but it will always be estimated in advance and agreed in the proposal.
Our experience allows us to be confident in estimating the required time before commencing any project work thus avoiding any unexpected delays in the delivery time.
Below are some of the factors that can influence the completion time:
• Turbulence resolution (RANS or LES)
• Time accuracy (Steady state or transient)
• Geometry complexity (Surface quality)
• Number of scenarios investigated
The shortest project project work we have done lasted a week while the average project duration is in the order of months.

Similar to the estimation of the required time the cost estimation is a complex procedure affected by the physical complexity and the expertise required.
As per the completion time the total project cost is assessed during the proposal time which makes the whole process fully predictable from the customer side.
Once the proposal is accepted then a 20% deposit is required before we start any work. The rest is paid once the project is delivered and accepted from the customer.
For the shortest and most trivial projects the cost can fall below €10,000.

We offer training on a regular basis at predefined days during the year at our premises and dedicated training at customer’s premises.

Depending on the number of participants it might be more cost effective to organise an onsite training if the travel and accommodation costs are considered.

It is also worth mentioning that during the training at CompFlow’s premises confidential aspects cannot be discussed.
